As a whole school, we work with a range of partner organisations and networks. These collaborative links support us to rigorously self-review and refine our pedagogical approach. Our own practice is being developed over time through this process as well as supporting local and national schools to develop theirs.
Our school is in the South of England Special school hub of the Challenge Partner network. We work closely in collaboration with many of our partner schools to share good practice, support our own development and ensure we engage in appropriate analysis of our effectiveness. All members of our senior team are trained reviewers and review other schools as part of purposeful leadership teams. At SRS, we consider engagement with this network to be an essential part of our outward-looking practice. We believe we can provide the very best support for our own pupils when we collaborate and develop in conjunction with other excellent practitioners.

Our school is part of the Futurezone Network in Islington – a collaboration of schools aiming for excellent outcomes for children in our community.

Our secondary and sixth form sites are co-located with City of London Academy Highbury Grove.
SRS works with a wide range of partner organisations for careers. These partnerships offer our students a range of opportunities to experience the workplace and to develop their employability skills. We work with over 50 different local businesses and organisations to enable us to identify appropriate opportunities and experiences for a broad range of students. Below are just some of our amazing partner organisations:
Almeida, Think Forward, Careers and Enterprise Company, Mencap, Big Alliance, Skills Builder, London Zoo, Islington World of Work and Preparing for Adulthood.
